“as long as you pay your rent on time we are happy to have you as our tenant for life!”
Many of our Landlords let out property as a retirement fund and have no intention of selling, others regularly buy more properties to add to their portfolios showing that they have no intention of selling any property which is currently or is going to be let out.
Tenancy
All tenancies begin as a 6 month AST Contract (Assured Shorthold Tenancy). At the end of the 6 month AST period, providing there are no arrears or other issues outstanding on your account, the paperwork you sign when you move into the property, enables us to turn the tenancy automatically into a rolling monthly contract. With the paperwork being signed at the start of the tenancy this means there are no further signatures required and this is to the benefit of you, once the 6 month AST has run out and your tenancy becomes a rolling monthly contract you only need to give us 1 month notice to leave the tenancy and vice versa.
Deposit
Your deposit (bond) will be held in the Deposit Protection Scheme (dps) – a government backed scheme which gives tenants the security that your bond will be returned to you providing you have adhered to the terms and conditions of your tenancy. For more information on the dps please click here
Looking after our tenants is very important to us and we know that our tenants have busy lives and as such we do everything we can to make your tenancy run smoothly.
We run a fully managed professional property service for private tenants, we are able to help in all aspects of your tenancy and should any repairs be needed we are able to provide our own in-house qualified workmen to do the work, quite often on the same day (depending on the nature of the repair).
